Enrollment and Degree Certifications are used by students and outside agencies to verify the current or past status of a student at IIT. Enrollment Certifications can only be given for semesters/quarters previously attended or currently enrolled (students may request a Pre-Certification throught the Office of the Registrar prior to the semester start date, provided they have enrolled for the upcoming semester). In order to provide a wide range of services, Illinois Institute of Technology has contracted with Credentials, Inc. to provide enrollment and degree certification for our students.

Third-Party Verification
If you are an outside agency (i.e. bank, insurance company, prospective employer, etc.) and wish to verify the enrollment or degree of a current IIT student or alum please click here or you may contact Credentials, Inc. by phone at (847) 446-1027.

IIT Students/Alum
If you are current student or IIT alum you may request Enrollment Certification directly. To request a degree certification, you must visit www.degreechk.com to register as a user and complete your request.

Enrollment certifications can now be received via email or fax directly to you or the requesting organization. There is no limit to the number of enrollment certifications that you can request and this service is free of charge for current IIT students and alumni.

Just follow these instructions to receive your enrollment certifications via email or fax:

1. Click Here to go to the login page.
2. Login: Your user id and password are the same as your IIT Web for Students login and password. Please Note For new students, your username is your CWID and initial password is your date of birth in the following format YYMMDD.
3. Choose your delivery option (email, fax, etc.)
4. Enter detailed personal & delivery information
5. Click for any nonstandard information to be included (cumulative GPA, term GPA etc)
6. Click submit
7. You will be given a confirmation number
8. Click submit from the confirmation page
9. The enrollment certification will be delivered within 24 hours

Enrollment certifications may also be requested by current students or alum in person at the Office of the Registrar in Room 104, Main Building, M-F, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. or by phone, Credentials, Inc. at (847) 446-1027.
