Please note that at the time of this writing, the State of Illinois is one of several states which, by state law, do not allow submission of a downloaded version of this federal form for voter registration. Some Illinois counties have an exception to this state law. Cook county does NOT have an exception to this law. Please contact your county voter registration office directly to verify what their policy is before attempting to register using the downloaded form.

You must be a US citizen and 18 years of age or older to vote. The deadline for voter registration for Illinois residents is 30 days prior to the election.
